Hiking!

Hi Everyone~
The day after Thanksgiving Grant and I and a bunch of our friends all got together and hiked. We were only planning on doing one hike and it turned into too. The first one was on the Far East Broadcasting Property and we hiked down a steep hill which has some neat caves that were used as hideouts in World War II. Grant found some Japanese coins in there. It was a good hike and the hard part was at the end where we had to climb up to get out of the cave.
The second hike was to an area by the sea that had a lot of blowholes. Blowholes come in from the ocean and make a loud sound and blow up air. It was quite the experience. It was so beautiful to be able to look out to the sea and see for miles.
At the end of the day we went to one of my favorite spots- The Grotto. The Grotto is a swimming area where there is a cutout in the ocean where the water is very cold and calm for the most part. It is a great place for divers. It was nice to cool off after a long day of hiking!
