Happy Easter!!!!

Hi Everyone,
Grant and I got back from our spring break trip on Friday so we were able to spend the weekend hanging out with friends and spending Easter in Saipan. In the morning our church put on a different kind of Easter Service called The Thorn. The way it was set up was we watched dramas, still-life photos, and heard songs about what Easter is all about. Grant had a part in the play. He acted as Jim who is a  person who talks about how he thought he would never be like Peter but ended up going down that path. It was neat to see Grant use his acting talents for church. It was a great service and there were more people at church than I have ever seen. Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian faith and I am so thankful that Jesus has died for me that I might live for Him.
Here are some verses to think about during this Easter weekend.
From Luke 24: 1-8
1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 Then they remembered his words.
For Easter my friends and I wanted to do something non-traditional and fun. We all brought non-Easter kinds of food for a potluck(I brought sloppy joes) and we had a nice lunch together. After that we spent the afternoon in the pool and dyed our Easter eggs poolside(we even used pool water to dye the eggs) It was a relaxing time to spend with friends and I enjoyed getting to wear a swimsuit on Easter.
Here are some photos from the day!

You first have to color the eggs with crayons so that way you can have a fun design.
