Nutcracker Ballet
Grant and I, along with our friends Amy and Laura went to the Nutcracker Ballet on Saturday Night. The local ballet school put it on, but the neat part is they had international ballet stars in to be a part of the show too. One of my students, Mariana, was in the show so I was able to see her dance. The show was set up this way: the Nutracker Ballet was first with the little girls and the ballerinas and then the ballerinas did their own show too. The ballerinas were from Russia, Japan, and Korea. They were absolutely amazing. At the end of the show they let us take pictures with the ballerinas and I felt like a little kid again! It was an amazing night of the arts and I love ballet so much it was good to see a beautiful show in Saipan. Saipan is not a place to get a lot of the arts so it was good to be a part of this experience.
p.s. The video below was tagged by Grant in this blog, but corresponds to the blog previous. It is of his kids performing at the Uke. Jam.
